TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The execution is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
