What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That should make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform run a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
